Our Story
Yamil and Jill met while out dancing at a salsa social in December 2012. Yamil approached Jill and asked her for the first dance of the night. At the end of the evening, he asked for her phone number and stated, "you have a choice" at her wide-eyed gaze. This was the start of many salsa dances, as we got to know each other through friends and activities together.     
Engaged!
Six years later, we were on a weekend trip to Martha's Vineyard with friends to run a half-marathon. The evening prior to the race, we went out to dinner at a fancy seaside restaurant.  When we took a short walk to the beach, our friends pulled ahead, to set up a small champagne surprise. There, on the dunes of Katama beach, Yamil proposed to Jill in front of the sea and a spectacular sunset. She said yes!
Venue
The 2020 wedding ceremony and reception was to take place at Pierce House in Lincoln, MA. 

We love this sunny yellow house with its wide expanse of green grass, and tall trees. It was an overcast June morning on the day we came to see the estate, and it rained hard as we stood beneath the big marquis tent out front. Despite the weather, we fell in love with it and hope you will too!

Invitation: When we have a new date, more information will be provided..
Travel: if you are making advanced travel plans, we can offer some suggestions. Some people prefer to stay near the city, others near the venue. Some carpooling may be arranged.
Getting There
Pierce House is located in Lincoln, MA, close to the town center. 

From the Mass Turnpike, take Route 95 North to Route 2 West. Turn right onto Bedford Road. Cross Route 2 and follow Bedford Road south, toward Lincoln Town Center. At the 5-way intersection, take a soft left onto Weston Road. Pierce house will be on your right.
 
From Boston, take Storrow Drive or Memorial Drive, follow signs to Route 2 West. Pass Route 95 and turn right onto Bedford Road. Cross Route 2 and follow Bedford Road south toward Lincoln Town Center. At the 5-way intersection, take a soft left onto Weston Road. Pierce House will be on your right.
